All our Dedicated Servers are monitored for availability (pinged every 5 minutes). In the event that your server goes down, you will be paged and/or e-mailed at the same time as our NOC. This web-based system can also give you uptime statistics and you can review historical monitoring data for your servers. We can also monitor network-based services such as HTTP, HTTPS, FTP, SMTP, POP3, DNS, and others on your server for availability.

Why Dedicated Cloud? Besides dedicated resources for each of our cloud instances, and ultra-scalable environment with 100% SLA guarantee, you get 24/7 access to the same award winning support team of genius administrators that take care of our own servers. And what is even better? You will have to pay ZERO for our Professional Managed Service!  More about our architecture..
As an alternative to using a script to launch the dedicated server manually, hosts running systemd can be configured to automatically start the dedicated server when the system boots. When using this method to manage the server, using GameUserSettings.ini to specify its settings is highly recommended. Refer to Admin Game Commands for more information.
As I reflect on today’s announcement, one can’t help to think about Kubernetes. Last month, I talked about some of the upstream CNCF projects we are involved in. Since then, we’ve continued engaging with the community upstream including the Kubernetes Service Catalog, where Microsoft employees are amongst the top committers, upstream managed/dedicated blob disk contributions and of course the Open Service Broker API. Working with the community and contributing upstream will continue being an important part of our relationship with Red Hat.
Most hosts offer at least some form of managed services, given that the hardware is living in its own facilities or datacenters. Even if the hosting provider insists on hardware and infrastructure management, they’re usually plenty willing to butt out of your web server if you ask nicely. There will be more pressure and demands on you to keep everything running smoothly and securely, but your host will continue offering technical support if you run into a jam.

For optimum performance all of our enterprise level SAN storage servers utilize state of the art SSD drives and memory caching technology, backed up by redundant RAID 10 (best performance) topology. All of our servers are highly available, and equipped with 100% redundant components! Unlike some of our competitors we never use cheap, unreliable, or non-enterprise hard drives.

This configuration features fast processors, plenty of storage and unmatched reliability - enough to support small to medium applications, websites, mail servers and more. GV Starter plans include servers with advanced AMD or Intel microprocessors, a variety of storage configurations, full root access, and a minimum of 2 gigabytes of RAM. In addition to GalaxyVisions' Core Managed Services, you'll get cPanel or Plesk with Fantastico control panel software, three useable IPs, personalized MRTG graphs to monitor traffic and a 10 megabit per second dedicated network port.
In the next step, go to Software Selection menu. There, you will find a list of some predefined base environments for your system. You can choose to install a graphical desktop environment, such as Gnome, KDE Plasma or Creative Workstation, or you can choose to install a custom server installation, such as Web server, Compute Node, Virtualization host, Infrastructure server, Server with a graphical interface or File and Print Server.

Just like the elephant, we never forget our customers. Easyspace owns and manages 10 of its very own Data centres throughout the UK. Accelerate development of modern applications with access to curated, tested, and supported modern languages (e.g., Python, .NET Core, Node.js), databases (e.g., MariaDB, MongoDB), and developer tools (e.g., GCC, GDB) through Red Hat Software Collections and Red Hat Developer Toolset. We also offer a no-cost developer subscription for Red Hat Enterprise Linux.
Choosing between the Linux or Windows operating system for your server typically boils down to what you’re hosting and what languages or technology you need to support. As an open-source platform, Linux has a much broader range of support and flexibility — in fact, Linux is the L in the all-too-popular LAMP stack, followed by Apache, MySQL, and PHP, Perl, or Python.

Servers with the Windows operating system installed typically support only Windows or Microsoft-based technologies, including ASP.NET, MSSQL, MS Access, and Visual Basic. Windows is particularly useful for the gaming industry, in addition to other software and hardware compatibility. Windows can run on nearly any processor, while Linux is recommended to run with Intel processors. One thing to keep in mind as you shop for Windows hosting: The operating system chews through a lot of computing resources, so look for plans that don’t cut corners on RAM.

I had a horrible time trying to get my domain and email accounts transferred to Easyspace because of the incompetence of my last provider. Anticipating all the usual infuriating experiences of trying to get hold of "support" and then being completely unable to understand a strong Indian accent etc etc, I was pleasantly surprised to find the support centre was in the UK, easily accessible by phone and email, completely understandable and very helpful. The guys sorted out my problems efficiently and quickly and helped me to set up one of my email accounts which was proving to be awkward. I have only been with Easyspace for a week thus far so cannot comment on their ongoing service: but, so far so good!
Ample RAM (5GB or more), e-commerce options for selling products, 24/7 customer service, and unlimited monthly data transfers are highly sought-after features, too. Many web hosts cap their dedicated monthly data transfer offerings at 16GB, which is probably fine for most users. Some web hosts offer unlimited monthly data transfers, but they are few and far between, and you need to read the terms of service very carefully to understand just what "unlimited" means to the host in question. In addition, companies that offer dedicated web hosting typically offer daily backups, security options, and malware detection and removal—all very important factors in your website's day-to-day operation.

You'll also want to consider how long you'll need dedicated web hosting. If it's a short-term project—say, less than a month or two—you'll typically receive a refund should you cancel your hosting within 60 days. Some companies offer 30-day money-back guarantees, while others offer 90-day money-back guarantees. Once again, it's beneficial to do your homework.

This one isn’t even close. Not only can InterServer wow customers with a $40-per-month server, but they will throw in five IP addresses, managed support, data migration, around-the-clock monitoring, and four-hour provisioning without any setup fees. The Intel Dual-Core Atom server is understandably small and low-powered when compared with InterServer’s other configurations, but having your choice of operating system and control panel makes the company an easy pick for an affordable dedicated Windows server hosting environment.
